PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATION
MANUALS, TECHNICAL:
MUNITIONS EQUIPMENT
This specification is approved for use by the Department of
the Army and is available for use by all Departments
and Agencies of the Department of Defense.
1. SCOPE.
1.1 Scope. This specification contains requirements for the preparation of operator and maintenance
technical manuals for munitions equipment (e.g., chemical, mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic,
hydraulic, or combination thereof). Manuals prepared using this specification cover equipment including
commercial items adapted for military use; specifically designed test, handling, measuring, and diagnostic
equipment; and non-explosive equipment which is a separate component of a munitions system.
