PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATION
MANUALS, TECHNICAL:
PREPARATION OF DEPOT MANUALS FOR DEPOT TEST,
MEASUREMENT AND DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT
This specification is approved for use by the Department of the Army and
is available for use by all departments and agencies of the Department of Defense.
1. SCOPE
1.1 Scope. This specification contains the requirements for the preparation of depot manuals (DM)
covering operation, maintenance, and calibration procedures for depot test, measurement and diagnostic
equipment (TMDE). These requirements are applicable to manuals for equipment which is used for
diagnostic and acceptance testing of field equipment items returned to the depot for reconditioning.
