A.1.          GENERAL


A.1.1  Scope.  This appendix is a mandatory part of this standard and establishes uniform use of abbreviations and acronyms required for displayed messages.


A.1.2  Application.  This appendix is applicable for abbreviations and acronyms not peculiar to a specific system.  MIL-STD-12 applies when abbreviations are not system peculiar or listed herein.
