DETAIL SPECIFICATION
AIRCRAFT CROSS-SERVICING MANUALS, TECHNICAL,
PREPARATION OF
This specification is approved for use by all Departments and Agencies of the Department of
Defense.
1. SCOPE
1.1 Scope. This specification covers the requirements for the preparation of cross-servicing
manuals for aircraft. It is intended for use by maintenance activities at airfields/ships, other than
that to which the aircraft is assigned, according to an established operational aircraft cross-
servicing requirement among member nations of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO)
and the Air Standardization Coordinating Committee (ASCC).
1.2 Detail. The level of detail contained in this specification is necessary to comply with
International Standardization Agreements (ISAs) ratified by the United States.
2. APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS
2.1 General. The documents listed in this section are specified in section 3 of this
specification. This section does not include documents cited in other sections of this specification
or recommended for additional information or as examples. While every effort has been made to
ensure the completeness of this list, document users are cautioned that they must meet all
specified requirements documents cited in section 3 of this specification, whether or not they are
listed.
