SCOPE

1.1 Scope. This detail speciication establishes the requirements for preparation of manuals and checklists
for loading/unloading nuclear weapons and nonnuclear munitions on aircraft, and for checking various
armament systems used to control/release/ire munitions and weapons that are approved for loading on an
aircraft. This speciication provides for electronic delivery of data through the use of the Document Type
Deinitions (DTD) contained in Appendixes A through K (see 6.2).
1.2 Detail. The level of detail contained in this speciication is necessary to comply with the requirements
of the Joint Computer-aided Acquisition and Logistics Support (JCALS) system.
1.3 Classiication. The type(s) of manual(s) to be prepared, as speciied by the acquiring activity
(see 3.2) are as follows:
a. Nuclear Weapons Basic Information and Loading Procedures Manual (Fighter Aircraft) (see
1.4 Integrated Combat Turnaround (ICT) procedures. This document describes the requirements for preparing
United States Air Force (USAF) ICT procedures for incorporation in technical manuals and checklists. These
integrated procedures combine and condense aircraft servicing -2 and -33 technical manuals (see 6.10).
1.5 NATO Stage B cross-servicing. This document establishes the requirements for preparing checklists for
loading/unloading nonnuclear munitions, lares, and chaff (including chaff dispensers) on aircraft in support
of North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Stage B cross-servicing. The checklist is a supplement
to the Stage A cross-servicing guide for aircraft.

2.1 General. The documents listed in this section are speciied in sections 3, 4 or 5 of this speciication.
This section does not include documents cited in other sections of this speciication or recommended for
additional information or as examples. While every effort has been made to ensure the completeness of this
list, document users are cautioned that they must meet all speciied requirements documents cited in sections
3 and 4 or 5 of this speciication, whether or not they are listed.

a part of this document to the extent speciied herein. Unless otherwise speciied, the issues of these
